Climate-KIC: Apply for vacant positions

Climate-KIC, the EU’s main climate innovation initiative and largest Europe´s public-private innovation partnership focused on mitigating and adapting to climate change, currently has seven job openings.  Climate-KIC that consists of companies, academic institutions and the public sector, work together to create opportunities for innovators to bring down CO2 levels and create growth and jobs across Europe. It offers an exciting, international work environment with excellent opportunities to learn and develop.

The different positions involve frequent travel activity, mainly in Europe, and most are based in Brussels, Belgium. Among these, Climate-KIC is looking for a Transitions Hub Manager, an EU Programmes and Relationships Manager, an European Projects Manager, etc.

There are also possibilities to work in England. Indeed the London headquarter is looking for a Curriculum Developer. This role will involve designing and developing products so that they meet exacting educational standards, from the design of learning objectives and outcomes, the choice of appropriate content, through to best practice in teaching methods for delivery. This closes on the 24th of February.

As Business Developer, you could work in Denmark and play a key role in developing Climate-KIC educational activities. You will be initiating the development of novel educational services/products in collaboration with our partners as part of establishing our new Climate Business School and the Climate-KIC Online Education activities. You have until the 23rd of February to apply.

If you are interested by a shorter collaboration with Climate-KIC, the Summer School Business Coach position is the perfect fit. During 6 weeks, you will travel with the students and facilitate the learning of business skills by supporting students in translating knowledge into activities and coaching them to create business plans of their own. Applications close on the 2nd of March.

Climate-KIC is one of the first Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs) created by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) in 2010. The organisation is now moving into the next step of maturity. Its purpose is to accelerate the process of bringing ideas to the market. We do this with partners, while we receive significant funding from EIT.

The organisation headquarter is based in London and it has centres across Europe in France, Germany, The Netherlands, Switzerland, Denmark and the UK and are represented in the regions of Valencia, Central Hungary, Emilia Romagna, Lower Silesia, Hessen and the West Midlands. In these centres we support start-up companies, bring together partners on innovation projects and educate students to bring about a connected, creative transformation of knowledge and ideas into products and services that help mitigate and adapt to climate change.
