One of the main efforts is about the manager of this contamination generated in industrial cities, like it was showed in the International Conference celebrated in Magdeburgo between the 25 and 26 of November, about “Green Cities and Green Industries.”

The European program “Pioneers into Practice” whose 4th edition is about to end, is an interesting European initiative of professional mobility, known as pioneers, from a high level, in terms of climate change innovation, and it’s main objective is to get a lowcarb economy in Europe.
Pioneers into practice (PIP), is coordinated into a European level by the FCVRE and IVACE is the Valencian organism responsible by RIC (Regional Innovation Implementation Community) to Climate-KIC.
Since its beginning, the PIP Program registered a gradual increase in the number of participants in the program from the regions that forms the consortium. The reason for this large participation of pioneers in participants programs in 2014 edition, was due to a strategic outreach implementation, where every participating region hosts a neighboring region. In the case of Valencia Region, coordinated the Lisbon’s pioneers and the North of Portugal with very good results and established close cooperation with institutions and luso organizations.
Draws attention to the case of the German state of Saxony-Anhalt, which has participated in this edition as a pilot edition, with 5 pioneers who were financed by regional founds.
These five experts were from SMEs, Agriculture and Environment Ministry, the Bareben Municipality, and Magdeburgo-Stendal University that were qualified as a very satisfactory experience, and that’s why in Sajonia-Anhalt region are considering the possibility of expanding their participation in the program with a larger number of pioneers across their region’s own funds.
