Registration period for Summer Cchool for doctoral Climate-KIC which this year takes place in Valencia from September 20 to October 2 is now open

The UVEG together with Climate-KIC hosts a summer school for doctoral students in September. Registration period is open until July 15th.

The University of Valencia is organizing a PhD Summer School on issues related to climate change and Smart Cities with the title: “On the way to a low-carbon city – The case of Valencia “. It is an intensive two-week international program that will take place from the 21st of September till the 2nd of October 2015 and it focuses in the challenges cities are facing to fight climate change impacts considering the city of Valencia a as a case study. This Summer School offers a learning-by-doing approach to innovations related to sustainable city systems, such as urban planning, sustainable mobility, energy efficiency, building technologies and greenhouse gases emissions measurement and assessment. It is open to all students interested in enlarging their knowledge, meet people from other cultures and disciplines and become part of a unique community (Climate KIC) in the field of climate change.

Summer school covers all expenses for accommodation and meals and has a fee of € 500  for European Universities’ PhD students and 2,000 € for non-European PhD Students.

The deadline for registration is open until 15th  July.
