Pioneers Climate-KIC Programme 5th edition kicks off

Pioneers Programme, the professionals mobility Climate-KIC Programme, kicks off with a much more flexible and agile format than in previous editions.

This year, although it doesn´t have regional placement, it still maintains the introductory workshop to initiate participants in systemic innovation that makes them propose solutions to real problems of the territory and citizens. This selected group of professionals “low carbon” will do it supported by information technology and with the help of an expert group of highly qualified coaches that will run for three days at the UPV.
The call has attracted a large group of experts from different sectors, profiles and skills coming from mobility, urban planning, industrial processes, lawyers and journalists, administration, teaching or business areas or expertise.

This multidisciplinary approach and the contribution of these experts of different profiles will sort out existing territory problems along the runing of the current edition whereas they also will attend in September-October an international placement for bringing them from thei “comfort zone”. This methodology will take them to get a much more effective and comprehensive way to give priorities and to provide the best innovations to the most pressing problems that climate change sets out. In this way they might be able to realize for their organization and society the transition to the new zero carbon economic model much faster.
