The 15 participating startups in the program had the opportunity to introduce their products and projects to investors and entrepreneurs. The Spanish innovator and entrepreneur ecosystem on climate change met in Valencia where Jose-Luis Muñoz, Director of Climate-KIC Spain, and Marcos Lacruz, President of AVAESEN, which coordinates Accelerator Programme in Spain welcomed and encouraged attendees to cooperate each other to boost the new low carbon economy across Europe.

Participants such Startupxplore, BigBan Angels, Aguas de Alicante, Espaitec, Olleros Abogados, InnDEA Foundation, CONSUM, Gimeno Group and private investors attended the gripping meeting.

Also significant was the participation of startups that have run through Climate-KIC Accelerator and getting into market on several continents, as Closca, and others that have successfully closed funding rounds as Aerox and Navlandis. And that´s because Accelerator Climate-KIC Spain figures speak for themselves of these past editions where they have incubated 37 ideas, 46 startups launched with 15 products introduced in the market, setting it as the 10 top Spanish accelerators and the only one of its category.
