Open the registration period to participate in “The Journey” summer school organised by Climate KIC (The Biggest European Public-Private Innovation Partnership in the field of climate change)
“The Journey” is an international summer school of between 3 and 5 weeks duration organised by Climate KIC (www.climate-kic.org/) aiming at offering postgraduate students the possibility of becoming the next generation of leaders in climate change innovation.

This summer school is addressed to postgraduate students from 21 to 41 years old willing to be entrepreneurs in the field of climate change and who have a high English level, since this is the official language for the whole Summer School and all its activities. It is open for students with technical backgrounds but also for those coming from socioeconomic fields, both related to sustainability and environmental topics. The Summer School is therefore multidisciplinary and very international, as students from all over the world could participate.

The summer school is organised by the partners of Climate KIC, as the Universitat de València, and each edition is run in three different European locations among which we could find: Paris, London, Valencia, Bologna (Italy), Zürich (Sweden), Hamburg (Germany), Munich (Germany), Budapest (Hungary), Lund (Switzerland), Wroclaw (Poland), Trondheim (Norway), Netherlands and the region of West Midlands (England).

Dates of the Summer School:
This year Climate KIC organises 6 editions of “The Journey” in three different dates according to 3 established routes:

Route 1 (5 weeks): July 3 – August 6
Route 2 (3 weeks): July 17 – August 6 (“Gobal Edition”)
Route 3 (5 weeks): July 24 – August 27

Financing:
For EU students (holders of an EU/EEA/Swiss passport or students full time enrolled at a European institution during the 2015/16 academic year) there is no fee to take part in the Journey.
Climate KIC also finances accommodation, breakfast, and one daily meal, and also the two trips from one location to another. Students will only have to cover the travel cost from their homes to the first location and the trip back from the last location to their home city, and also the dinners during the whole Summer School.
