Forinvest is the largest financial-business networking space in Spain. In this forum-exhibition gathers the biggest and best offer of everything related to the world of Finance: financial products and services, investments, insurance, taxation and technological solutions, among others.
This year the Climate Change will take special importance thanks to the collaboration with EIT Climate-KIC. To this end, we have proposed a sustainability panel that will focus on how to finance the rapid, broad-based systems transitions we now need to build a prosperous, resilient. net-zero-carbon societies, in time.
The objective of this panel will be to engage actors, both public and private, to build a financial community that brings together the necessary players (regional/national/international public funds, banks, investors) to support this process of systemic transformation that EIT Climate-KIC is orchestrating.
DEEP DEMONSTRATIONS
Deep demonstrations are intended as inspirational examples of what is possible at the level of whole systems when innovation is orchestrated, collaborative and mission-led. They represent the ‘growth edge’ of our strategy for tackling climate change through innovation.
From the hand of the Port Authority of Valencia and the Valenciaport Foundation we will know the Deep Demonstration Net-Zero Emissions, Resilient Maritime Hubs and SuperLabPorts.
ACCELERATOR
Startups are a very important part of investing in innovation. We will be presenting Accelerator, the world’s largest cleantech start-up accelerators. And we will talk about the seventh call of the program in Spain, open until March 25, 2020, and we will know some of its success stories.
EIT-CROSS KIC Spain
During the celebration of Forinvest there will also be a Round Table of the Spanish group of Knowledge and Innovation Communities EIT Cross-KIC Spain. This leading initiative in Europe is an example of cross-cutting collaboration to bring innovation to strategic areas of the EU such as food, health, raw materials, energy, food, mobility, manufacturing or climate change.
