More than a hundred bicycles will travel on October 9 from Valencia to Paris to convey, in a sustainable manner, thousands of signatures collected from the citizens and institutions to\u00a0 the leaders of the Climate Summit in Paris 2015.<\/p>\n
The initiative, called “March Solutions”, belongs to the AMA, and association which fights climate change, and has the support of Climate-KIC, the Generalitat Valenciana, Greenpeace, Fundaci\u00f3n Vicente Ferrer, Valencia Bike and municipalities as Valencia, Torrent, Cuenca, Soria and Cordoba.<\/p>\n
Hector Garcia, president of\u00a0the AMA<\/span>, explained that the aim of this march of 1,100 miles\u00a0by bike is not other than to sensitize civil society, states and municipalities of the need to be part of the change, and get press for states commit at the next summit in Paris to a binding global agreement, according to the latest report by the UN IPCC.
